JADCO Names Scott Rife Vice President

ZELIENOPLE, PA, August 26, 2009 – JADCO, Inc. announces the appointment of D. Scott Rife as vice president. In his new position, Rife will help the company increase demand for its proprietary QT Plus® wear steel and ChromeWeld 600 TM chromium carbide overlay plate used in applications such as breaker plates, truck bed and bin liners, chutes and specialty wear kits.

Rife brings over 20 years mining and business experience to his new position, including positions at Kennametal Inc. as director of global mining; underground manager, mining sales Americas; and manager of mining product engineering. He also served as vice president of sales for McConway and Torley Group. Rife's qualifications consist of a strong management background in the sales, new business development and engineering of capital equipment and consumable product manufacturing for mining and heavy industry applications.

JADCO manufactures proprietary wear plate under the QT Plus® and ChromeWeld 600TM brands to solve impact and abrasion resistance problems in a wide range of industries, including aggregates, cement, chemicals, coal, dredging, materials handling, mining, OEM, power generation, pulp & paper, recycling and steel production.
