How Does Your Wear Resistant Steel Vendor React When Things Go Wrong?

After working with JADCO for several years now, I just had my first phone call telling me things didn’t proceed as everyone planned.


A customer called saying they received their formed QT Plus ® wear steel replacement bottom for their CAT 349 excavator bucket. The packing slip indicated the six exterior wear bars for the back of the bucket were also shipped, but they were not on the pallet.

In a few minutes I received the above Inspection Report via email with the photos showing why the exterior wear bars were not on the pallet. The bars were sent on a separate pallet than the formed bucket bottom for ease of handling and weight. (Name removed for posting.)

Confirming the status with the customer later in the day, he mentioned this was not his only shipping issue that day. He was pleased with JADCO’s immediate response with actionable assistance in responding to him promptly.
